Rock Bottom

So I started this blog 4 months ago and this will be my 24th publication. I began writing as a form of therapy to help release some of the shit I was struggling to deal with, and publishing these thoughts turned into a different type of therapy in itself.

I’ve not only discovered so much about myself along this journey, but so much about those in my life and also total strangers that have reached out who have been touched by my words. It’s been such an eye-opening and utterly amazing experience that I will look back on and remember for the rest of my life.

I’m honored and also shocked to say that out of the thousands of comments I have received, not one has been negative in any way. My biggest fear in releasing such personal information and admitting to my deepest struggles, is that I would receive…

All about life

Every lesson of life has its own teaching but you don’t understand it unless you go through it. When life is showing a rough path, don’t be disheartened. Don’t let what is happening around you break you down. Give yourself sometime and everything will be in place. Someday everything will make a perfect sense. But, remember to practice what you have learned in that moment of hardship and frustration. Believe that everything happens for a reason to nourish you, to transform you for better things to come your way. Here’s my thought on life, hope it helps you to grow in times of need.

A day out on a stroll
After a series of awful days,
I try finding myself when I am lost.
I feel the rush of negative emotions and,
I ask myself, “When am I going to be fine?”
The feelings of anguish and the loss of…

“Create a dream and give it all you’ve got…”

Craig's Quotes

You could be surprised just how
much you are capable of achieving.
If you don’t have a dream…borrow one!
Any what way, you must have a dream.”

Together, one mind, one life (one small step at a time), let’s see how many people (and lives) we can encourage, impact, empower, enrich, uplift and perhaps even inspire to reach their fullest potentials…and strive for and perhaps one sunny day even achieve their wildest dreams.

“You are the light of the world – a city on a hill glowing in the light for all to see…”

A Journey of Faith

slide_1

“You are the light of the world –  a city on a hill glowing in the light for all to see. Don’t hide your light. Let it shine for all. Let your good deeds show for all to see, so that they will praise your Heavenly Father.”

Matthew 5: 14-16

14 You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:14-16 New International Version (NIV)

FAIR PLAY

“My son, I’m giving you the ball and naming you scrum-half for your team in the game of life. I’ve seen your coach, so I’m giving it to you straight. There is only one game to play. It lasts all your life, with no time out, no substitutions, You’ll have a great back-line and fullback. Their names are Faith, Hope, Charity, Love, Peace and Commitment.

Your forwards are a powerful pack, too. They are Honesty, Loyalty and Duty; Self-respect and Discipline; Dignity and Courage; and Enthusiasm.

God is the referee and sole official. He makes all the rules. Some call them the Ten Commandments. Play according to them. Try to help your teammates do the same.

So: here is the ball. It is called your soul. Pick it up and run with it, and let’s see what you can do…

2 Books That Will Change Your Life

BallerHub

Just right of the bat it is important to mention that I’m not a huge reader. I read around 3 books a years, however, when I do read, I try to get the most value out of it. I don’t read for entertainment, I read to learn. I absolutely despise non educational books, however, they have their value. I’m just not interested in those.

Like I mentioned, reading is not my strong suit. I’m working constantly on improving the habit of reading constantly, unfortunately, when work gets too overwhelming, the books usually stay away for a while.

Now, this is relevant, because, since it is so hard for me too read and to feel absorbed by a certain book, I try to select those that appear to be the most promising. I often check reviews, read comments and check authors interviews, and if those seem appealing, I buy…
